I found this scam hard to believe, but it is apparently true. There is a company that is mixing a dangerous chemical called Polysorbate 80 into their resveratrol supplement. Do you want to use this dangerous chemical?
This company is claiming that Polysorbate 80 increases the bioavailability of the resveratrol. There is no scientific evidence to support this claim. Polysorbate 80 is also known as Tween, and it is not intended to be used for this purpose. High doses are easily ingested when used in a resveratrol supplement. Normally, Tween is used in industrial detergents, shampoos and degreasers and used to remove toxic wastes. Tween does not have any chemical evidence that it will enhance resveratrol in any way.
